Construction Projects in EstateFlow Construction Orchestrator

The Construction Projects screen allows users to create and manage construction projects for real estate developers.

1.4.1. Create New Project

  • Step 1: Click on the New Project button.
  • Step 2: The system will display the Add New Project screen. Enter the necessary details and click Save.
Project Tab Explanation:
  • Parent Project: Select the parent project if applicable.
  • Billing Category: Retrieved from the Billing Categories screen.
  • Project Budget: Enter the project's total budget.
  • Budget Threshold: Set a budget limit. Notifications and SMS alerts will be sent when costs approach this threshold.
  • Expected Revenue: Enter the expected revenue for the project.
  • Expected Cost: Enter the anticipated project expenses.
  • Contingency Funds: Allocate reserve funds in case costs exceed the budget threshold.
  • Project Settings: Configure customer access and permissions for the project.

1.4.2. View Project Information

  • Step 1: Click on the View button next to the project you want to review.
  • Step 2: The system will display the Project Information screen.
Overview Section:
  • Days Left: Displays the remaining days for project completion.
  • Logged Hours: Shows the total hours spent on the project (from task execution time).
  • Billable Hours: Displays the billable hours logged for tasks.
  • Unbilled Hours: Displays logged hours that have not been billed.
Other Sections:
  • Tasks: Lists all project-related tasks and subtasks.
  • Timesheets: Displays all recorded timesheets for project tasks.
  • Milestones: Used to create and manage project milestones.
  • Files: Stores and manages project-related documents.
  • Discussions: Enables discussions related to the project.
  • Mapping Setup: Configures account mapping for invoices, payments, expenses, tax, and other financial elements.

1.4.3. Copy Project

The Copy Project function duplicates project data, including tasks, task checklists, milestones, team members, and sales information.

1.4.4. Edit Project

  • Click the Edit button next to the project you want to modify.

1.4.5. Delete Project

  • Click the Delete button next to the project you want to remove.
